Every generation of believers eventually faces the same moment.
The moment when following Jesus stops being comfortable.
The moment when conviction costs something.
The moment when the pressure to compromise becomes real.
In those moments, the question is never whether pressure exists. Scripture already settled that.
The real question is what the Church will do when it arrives.
Will we bend with the culture around us? Will we quietly adjust our convictions to fit the moment? Will we stay silent when truth becomes unpopular?
Or will we stand.
Not aggressively. Not defensively. But firmly anchored in Christ.
That is the heart behind Freedom Conference 2026.
And this year the message is simple.
STAND.
Not as a suggestion.
As a mandate.
The Apostle Paul writes in Epistle to the Ephesians:
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil… For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:10–12)
Scripture makes something unmistakably clear. The battle facing believers is not merely cultural. It is not merely ideological. It is spiritual.
There is real opposition to truth. Real deception that seeks to weaken conviction.
Real pressure that tries to reshape the Church into something softer and more acceptable.
Paul’s instruction in response is not complicated.
“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:13)
Stand.
We are living in a time where truth is increasingly blurred. Conviction is mocked. Compromise is rewarded. And the pressure to quietly conform is stronger than ever. But the Church was never called to blend into the culture around it.
Freedom Conference 2026 is a call to believers who refuse to be shaped by culture or intimidated by the battle before them.
Believers who want their faith rooted deeply enough that when pressure comes, they remain unmoved.
From Friday 29 May to Sunday 31 May, believers from across New Zealand will gather for Freedom Conference 2026.
This is a weekend set apart to strengthen the Church.
Across the conference there will be worship, teaching, prayer, and moments of ministry designed to equip believers to remain anchored in truth even when the world around them shifts.
Because the goal is not inspiration. The goal is formation.
To raise believers who know how to remain steady in the middle of spiritual opposition, cultural pressure, and personal trials.
Believers who understand how to take their place in the battle Scripture describes.
Stand.

If you are hungry for more than surface-level Christianity…
If you want to grow stronger in truth and conviction…
If you want to be equipped to remain anchored when pressure comes…
Then Freedom Conference 2026 is for you.
